Andrew (Drew) Slovensky

Piper’s Landing Yacht and Country Club has a secret ingredient that has helped it earn accolades---like the #1 Private Golf Course award for Northern Martin County for 2 years in a row and a Best Place to Golf distinction according to an Indian River Magazine survey. That ingredient is Golf Course Superintendent Drew Slovensky.

His “Do what it takes” attitude and his commitment to meeting or exceeding the expectations of the membership are the motivating drivers for Drew and his team.

Drew has a staff of 20. They work seven days a week. Their day frequently begins at 5 a.m. and often runs past sunset while they work to make the course at Piper’s the best anywhere. Weather and environment can be daunting challenges, but for Drew, they simply add to the excitement of overcoming all obstacles in the pursuit of perfection on the links.

Drew moved to the area from Birmingham, Alabama, and became Assistant Superintendent at Piper’s in March 2009. In July 2013, he was promoted to Golf Course Superintendent. Under his leadership, Piper’s has developed a golf course that is a pleasure to play and an award-winning feature of our community.
